Fire Dancing (by Tristan Savatier)
Since we able to control fire, ceremonial dances with flames has always been a part of old cultures in Samoa,Mexico,New Zealand and elsewhere. But now a days, you will rarely see someone doing a warrior dance around you, however the art form has continued to evolve and it’s been beautifully captured with today’s cameras.
Everything Changed when the fire nation attacked.
Some stories stay with us forever.
My Visual Creativity and meaning final! Our assignment was to pick a design or art movement that was covered in the class and, to the best of our ability, create a piece that is influenced by/reflects that style. I chose to do a piece inspired by Aubrey Beardsley, an exceptional English artist who was (sort of) part of the art nouveau movement. Beardsley was very much into illustrating tragic scenes and creating pieces that posed challenging ideas about the current society; given that, I thought The Hunger Games (Suzanne Collins) was very appropriate subject matter… What do you think?
Dear People Who Follow Me,
I have been avoiding tumblr until I am completely caught up with Doctor Who. I am almost there, but I cannot risk any spoilers (haha). I’ll try to be a bit more active but until I am up to date I will continue to avoid like a champ! Thank you for being such wonderful bloggers! I’ll be with you again soon. Sincerely,
Me (because I’m not entirely sure what my name is)
I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!
Was I the only one who loved Warren Peace in Sky High???
